Quality of Life

The Quality of Life Framework has been developed and is coordinated by Swalcliffe Park School, in Oxfordshire. It is an evidence based approach to helping to improve students’ and families’ quality of life and encouraging better home-school relationships.

The QoL approach includes:

• Every student having a key worker to support them in their school journey
• Dedicated key working time each week so staff can build relationships with students and get to know their needs
• Student and family surveys to help us see the impact of the work we are doing or more areas where we could help
• Use of the Independence Plus Curriculum to help develop self-management and communication skills
